| Bio: | What kind of powers do you have? Do you use them For Good or For Awesome? In August '06 this became the Ashuelot River Free School's blog. Before that, this journal was the public log for homeschooling JLynn ("Unschooling the Kiddo") from August '04 until September '05. There it sat until I decided I liked unschooling other people's kids, and started a neighborhood free school. Based on the Albany Free School model, we currently have 3 full-time students, one half-time student, and one occasional student, three of whom live in the house, the other 2 live next door. We are expecting another student part-time in Feb '07. This is where I post logs of what we do every day and projects we get involved in. It's always an adventure! I also review an education-related or other inspirational book that I feel fits with our model and philosophy of education. Basically it's an excuse to write book reports.
